Mary Joyce Baker

DESIGNER

Growing up outside of Detroit, Mary Joyce was captivated by the world of design and industry, often attending car shows with her dad. This early exposure ignited her passion for creativity and craftsmanship. Her journey brought her to Washington, D.C., where she initially studied Art History at George Washington University. However, her love for design led her to pivot to the Interior Architecture program at The Corcoran.

As a student, Mary Joyce thrived as the Event Chair for the Interior Architecture Student Organization, showcasing her organizational talents. Her capstone project was a thoughtfully designed preschool that emphasized unique learning styles, interactive play, and engaged learning through innovative design.

After earning her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Architecture in the Spring of 2022, Mary Joyce joined Wyn Design Co., where she has grown tremendously as a Designer. She has taken on key responsibilities, including creating mood boards, specifying and procuring FF&E, working on schematic designs, communicating with vendors, and developing custom details.
